Welcome to the Snake River Valley Quilt Guild!
We’re a fun-loving, fabric-obsessed community of over 100 members (and
growing!), established in 1993. Around here, we take our quilting
seriously… but not ourselves. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned
pro, you’ll fit right in.
At our monthly meetings, we keep things lively with:
~Quilting activities and challenges (because we like to keep things interesting)
~A quilting education segment at every meeting
~Show and Tell—where we all “ooh” and “ahh” appropriately
~Community Support projects that give back
~An annual picnic
~Our Annual Fall Retreat (aka the ultimate sewing escape)
~A variety of sew-ins with fun projects and techniques
~Quilt-In events for even more stitching time
~A President’s Bus Trip—because quilting adventures are better together
~Of course… our Holiday Party to wrap it all up in style
~And plenty of opportunities to meet fellow quilters who totally
understand your fabric stash
We meet the third Thursday of every month, January through November,
at Calvary Baptist Church, 785 First Street in Idaho Falls. Doors open
at 6:00 pm, and the meeting runs from 6:30 pm to approximately 9:00
pm.
We plan every meeting like a party for quilters—because that’s exactly
what it should feel like. If you don’t leave inspired, smiling, and
maybe just a little excited to start your next project, then I guess
I’ll have to step up my boss lady game.
We’d love to have you join us—come quilt with us!
